Sims 4 won't install

I have downloaded the Sims 4 through Origin (after trying to install from disc didn't work) and it won't install. It downloads, finishes, then says it's installing but won't let me play after the ins...

i have the same issue, reinstalled origin, run it as administrator, nothing works

You seem to have a similar issue to the one listed in this thread, can you try the other steps listed there?

I have te same isssue, but it isnt like the one you just posted. I keep getting an error message when I click download

  I also keep recieving an error message it wont even let me get to the point of installment. What did your message say and did you fix it?

Tried all of these and none of them have worked... still just comes up with install option and when I hit install, it says that it's installing, then complete, but doesn't give me the option to play... just to install again :-(

    i think i've got it. i uninstalled everything..origin app, etc. Then i disabled my antivirus and windows firewall. then i opened the install disc and right clicked on the autorun app and selected "run as admin". after that it seems like everything is working. working slowly, but working.
