Sims 4 wont launch
I finished installing the Sims 4 to my EA App. Recently switched from Origin. When I clicked to launch, I got an error: "Your game failed to launch Double-check your connection, or try again later...
@HomieWonKenobi As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.
If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

And please double-check whether your EA Play subscription is currently active, just in case this is all because of an expired sub.
It didn't work trying to play with a clean folder.
I ran the dxdiag and attached.
My EA play subscription is active via Xbox Gamepass. I also own the game separately.
@HomieWonKenobi Please uninstall all your Razer software and try again to play. Synapse and Game Manager Service are both crashing, so it's best to get rid of everything and see whether the game works. If it does, you can try reinstalling the apps you'd like to use and see how it goes.
Your dxdiag also lists a few failed Windows updates. Those should be addressed to unless you're deliberately blocking the updates and therefore know it's not a problem. If that's not the case, please run a couple of basic checks of your Windows system files:
Restart your computer, hit Windows key-i, select Update & Security, and click the button to check for updates. If any install, restart again afterwards.
After the first scan I got no errors.
This is the result of the second scan:
"Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.
For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at
windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline
repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag."
I am not blocking any updates on purpose. My system says I am up to date when I check "Windows Update" under settings.
After uninstalling razer programs, I am still getting the same error when attempting to start the game.
Thanks for all your help. This is really frustrating. Means a lot that your assisting me.
