Sims 4 Won't Load Past Opening- Can't Find Resolution!

My Sims 4 won't load past the beginning Sim4/Maxis screen and afterwards it is a blank white screen. I found an issue similar to mine, but didn't see a clear answer besides "try turning off your mods...

Your Graphics are below minimum requirement for the game. You only have 4GB RAM and Graphics are using half of that so you end up with too little for the game. If you set the game to run as 32bit in Origin (if it isn't already) you may be able to get it to run. Rightclick it in Origin and select Game Properties.
