Sims 4 won't load when connected to Internet

@NobodyYooo Does this happen if you put the EA App in offline mode before launching Sims 4? You can also open the game offline and disable all the online connection-related features in Options > Game Options > Other, then try playing while online again.

Hello, thanks for your response. Putting the EA app in offline mode was the only way I could get the game to load fully. Surprisingly enough the game didn't have any issues with loading and I can play online today. I was hoping there would be a permanent solution to solve the infinite loading situation but for now, it seems alright. I'll drop anything else here in case I find anything weird.
