DId you uninstall and then reinstall the 2010 ones or just installed over existing files ?
Sorry for the late reply, not online often. I'm not sure, I think they were installed with windows update and untouched since. I'm also trying to install it onto my brothers laptop to see if it'll work on that.
*Edit- Just tried it on my bros laptop and worked first try. He's running the same OS so Idk why it wouldnt work on mine.

I've got the same problem trying to download Sims 4 on my son's computer. No idea what's previously been downloaded. It sounds complicated to resolve.

Hi @jackjminecraft,
We can guide you through the process 😉
To check which visual C++ Redistributables you have installed, as Crinrict explained, you need to go to Add/remove programs:
- Open Control Panel. You can find instructions on how to do so here.
- In Control Panel, under "Programs" category, click on "Uninstall a program".
- This will open a list of all the programs you have installed in the computer. Scroll until you find the Microsoft C++ Redistributables. You can take a screenshot and attach it to your answer so we can take a look. (Instructions on how to take a screenshot here)
Let us know if you have any questions,
Mai
