Try uninstalling the 2010 ones and then redownload and reinstall

I've got the same problem trying to download Sims 4 on my son's computer.  No idea what's previously been downloaded.  It sounds complicated to resolve.

    Hi @jackjminecraft,

    We can guide you through the process 😉

    To check which visual C++ Redistributables you have installed, as Crinrict explained, you need to go to Add/remove programs:

    1. Open Control Panel. You can find instructions on how to do so here.
    2. In Control Panel, under "Programs" category, click on "Uninstall a program".
    3. This will open a list of all the programs you have installed in the computer. Scroll until you find the Microsoft C++ Redistributables. You can take a screenshot and attach it to your answer so we can take a look. (Instructions on how to take a screenshot here)
