Sims aged and all save options disabled. How can i save?

I have two sims in the Sims 4 that aged into teenagers and all save options are disabled. I waited a few sim days to see if it would change, tried making different screens pop up, still no luck. I aged them into Young adults one by one and still all options for exiting are disabled. I cant travel, save, manage worlds, or anything else to do with leaving the home. Please Help!
