Sims cannot sit on the couch

My Sims cannot sit on the couch if another Sim is already sitting on it, even if there is plenty of room. Only one Sim can sit on the couch at any given time. I have tried with two different couche...

    I found out what the problem was.

    Somehow the lot got corrupted. Maybe because the residential lot was created and saved without the mailbox. It appeared inside the living room when I first played a family in it. Then I moved the mailbox to a more convenient place.

    The solution I found:

    1- I evicted the family

    2- I deleted the lot

    3- I placed the house back in the lot (from my library)

    4- I edited the house placing the mailbox where it should be, and saved the lot

    5- I moved the family back into the lot

    I disabled custom content in my game but the problem remains.

      Could you try a new game for testing purposes to see if the same issue occurs there ?

      This is to find out if it's the save game or a general issue.
