I only have the Sims 4 and the Christmas pack installed. I am running the game through steam on pc with windows 11. When I first downloaded the game the sims deliveries worked fine but now they are ...
@camarobabeplayer Please set exceptions for TS4_x64.exe and Origin.exe or EADesktop.exe (whichever app you use) within Windows Defender's Controlled Folder Access:
Since the March 13, 2023/Infant Patch/Update, I have been receiving a "Sims Delivery Error," which I have never had before. I have looked through previous posts but have not found a solution. The error occurs 100% of the time within 1 minute of start-up of a saved game OR New Game.
Background:
I am running the latest Sims 4 version (incl. the March update)
EP include (NOTE: I have not installed the Growing Together Pack as I have already been having so many issues with juts the patch):
High School Years
Cottage Living
Snowy Escape
Island Living
Seasons
Cats and Dogs
Get Famous
Get Together
Get To Work
City Living
Game Packs Include:
Realm of Magic
Werewolves
Parenthood
Vampires
Dine Out
Spa Day
Outdoor Retreat
Stuff Packs:
Paranormal
Toddler
Fitness
Bowling Night
Backyard
Kids Room
Spooky
Movie Hangout
Cool Kitchen
Perfect Patio
Luxury Party
Free:
Holiday Celebration Pack
MODS/CC
I had a variety, including CAS CC, Build CC, MCCC, WW, Basemental, Health Redux, etc.
What I have tried:
- I updated ALL mods that had been given updates
- I checked for mods that might be broken or incompatible
- I checked for broken CC
- I removed ALL Mods and ALL CC, cleared anything in the cache files, deleted onethumbnail and locathumbcache , and tested in brand new game with nothing but the EA DLC, and the Sims Delivery Error still came up.
I have attached pics below of what I am seeing, in case that gives you any more information.
Please help - Nothing really bad seems to happen(yet) if I just play on despite the SDE, but I do not want my gam eto break or lose any of my long term saved games.
@Player_1g1vsoqr I've merged your post with another thread on the same issue, with the same error code. Please try setting exceptions for TS4_x64.exe and EADesktop.exe in your antivirus. If you only use Windows Defender, and Controlled Folder Access is active, set exceptions there, but no need to enable it if it's not already running.
