@Haengboknam Do you have any mods or custom content installed, and do you see this issue without the mods and cc? Please test and let me know.

i do have mods and cc. It still happens without cc and mods.
all of my in game settings are set to very high and high.

@Haengboknam Please make sure Sims 4 is still using the Nvidia graphics card. Go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, open Config.log, and find the GPU listed about 30 lines down. If you see the AMD graphics chip instead, let me know.
If the Nvidia card is listed, the issue might be the new driver: yours is dated August 3 and might have been installed more recently than that. You can try rolling back to an older driver: click Windows key-X, select the Device Manager, expand the Display Adapters section, right-click the Nvidia card, select the Driver tab, and you should see the option to roll back. If you don't see it, you might have done a clean install of this driver; let me know if you'd still like to try a slightly older one.

i don't see an option to roll back,how do i do a clean install of my driver?
