sims slow
Sims is running slow/laggy whilst in game, I have tried removing mods/cc and it still does not make a difference, I have attached dxdiag
@Kaitlen18 Thanks for providing the dxdiag, which shows that the Sims 4 crashes reference a component of Windows. That component is unlikely to be corrupt, but still, it's worth running a couple of basic checks of your Windows system files:
Restart your computer, hit Windows key-i, select Update & Security, and click the box to check for updates. If any install, restart again afterwards.
Please also clear the EA App's cache:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
and repair the game: open your App game library, click Sims 4, and select Manage > Repair.
Please test first in a new save with no mods or custom content present. Test immediately after restarting your computer, with nothing else open aside from the EA App. Your laptop's 4 GB RAM may be part of the problem here, and it may help to keep as much memory free as possible while playing. The limited RAM is definitely not all of the problem, considering the errors in your dxdiag, but it's not helping either.
@Kaitlen18 That looks like a report of the available commands, nothing like the report that sfc would show when it's finished running. Please double-check that you've followed the instructions for both DISM and sfc and let me know how they go.
@Kaitlen18 Thanks. Now please try the other suggestions in my earlier post and let me know whether they help. If not, please post a new dxdiag.
