Sims won't enter restuarants or clubs

I've only started having this problem a couple of days ago out of nowhere. I made a restuarant and only staff members and sims that  I am using can enter the lot. They go to their stations and wait for customers but no sims show up. I waited 6 sim hours but still nothing. I had no idea what was going on until I saw a bunch of sims crowded together doing nothing at the far end of the lot.

I had this issue before when making a restuarant on a penthouse lot but that was due to placement of the elevator, so sims couldn't enter. With the new restuarant however, it's on the ground floor of a standard lot with 3 doors that they could enter from. I even tried breaking the wall but they were still unresponsive. I'm also having this issue with nightclub lots.

Please help ☹️

    Hi @Yasmine91

    does it happen to all restaurants/night clubs or any particular ones ? No locked doors ? 

    Are you using any mods/cc in your game ?

    Could you test a fresh save for testing purposes to see if you have the same issues there ? This is to find out if the issue is global or isolated to a certain save game.

    Thanks for commenting, I checked all doors, they're not locked. I do use CC and mods, I took all my CC out and loaded that world and it was fine.  I opened another game and the clubs are working fine even with CC and mods. I'm not sure why it works in one game but not the other.
