Sims4 Progress Gone - Please help!

Hello, I have a problem with the Sims4. First it wasn't loading for days, because of a "technical issue on their end", it said I should try again later. This continued for several days. So I tried...

    @arielle2punkt0  The language options should show up when you initially choose to install the game:

    Or you can simply copy your save files from "Die Sims 4" to "The Sims 4," and they'll work fine.  They're inside the saves folder, naturally.  From what I understand, the saves will still have German names for sims and locations, but the text will of course be in English.

@puzzlezaddict  Thank you so much! I was able to move the .save files over and have got my progress back, yay! 

I might still reinstall to change the language again, but very happy the first issue is solved now, so thanks a lot for your help!
