@ppdestroyer42069 Restart your computer and clear Origin's cache:

If you get an error when trying to clear the cache, go through the Task Manager shutting down any processes that mention Origin or have its or EA's logo, then try again.

I followed the instructions and now I’m able to press the buttons in origin. However when I press play, the game isn’t opening. I’ve been waiting for a while and still, the game isn’t opening. In task manager, it says the game is running.
And after I press play, the buttons are grayed out again, whether or not I close the game in task manager.

@ppdestroyer42069 Please move your entire Sims 4 user folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to it yet; just see whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.
If you get an error when trying to move the folder, please post a screenshot. If moving the folder is fine but you still can't play, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

I tried moving it and I'm receiving this error message. I attached a screenshot.
