Since update, game crashes on aging up toddler and then saving

Since today's update, I am unable to save after aging up my toddler. The game crashes to the desktop.

I got this so many times, it was like ground hog day! I found that because the baby was part alien, this seemed to be the glitch so I moved one parent and the baby out until it aged up, then moved them back to the main household and this seemed to do the trick!
