Slow/Laggy Game

My Sims 4 game has been working fine until last week. I had to reset my whole computer because I was having issues with not only the game but also my computer itself. When my computer got finished resetting itself to its original factory setting, my computer started working better but I cannot say the same for the Sims 4 when I re-installed the game. It has been nothing but slow and laggy ever since and let's just say I'm ready to throw my computer out the window. I have tried basically everything: lowering my settings, taking out my Sims 4 folder, taking out my mods folder, merging mods but nothing has worked. I hope someone can help me because I miss my game.

@XxIamMeXx   The processor is not being identified in the dxdiag. One on the things the game checks is the processor. There is a driver that has this information and it needs to be present. Also you need to update the video driver. I recommend checking for Windows updates also.

How can I make the processer identifiable and how do I update my video driver?

@XxIamMeXx  Please start by running a couple of basic checks on your Windows system files.  Here's how:

    • Hit Windows key-X
    • Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
    • Inside the window that appears, copy and paste “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes into the window, and enter
    • The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here
    • After it reaches 100%, hit Windows key-X again
    • Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator)”
    • Inside the window, copy and paste “sfc /scannow” without quotes into the window, and enter
    • Post the message you receive here

Restart your computer, hit Windows key-i, select Update & Security, and click the button to check for updates.

Restart again, and run another dxdiag.  Hopefully your processor will be listed this time.  As for updating the driver for the graphics chip, there's a newer Intel driver offered by Lenovo specifically for your laptop; you can find it here:

    https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/300-series/320-17ikb/downloads/driver-list/component?name=Display%20and%20Video%20Graphics

Restart after installing it and before playing Sims 4 again.

@puzzlezaddict I'm still on the DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth step and this is all that came up and when I went on to the sfc /scannow step, nothing happened.

@XxIamMeXx  Restart your computer and try again.  Once you've entered the DISM command, just wait a few minutes, and if you don't see anything aside from what's in your screenshot, let me know.  But if you try to run another command at the same time, it's entirely possible neither one will work.
