Social Event Tasks Won't Appear

Issue When I have a party or send a sim on a date, the tasks needed to complete the social event successfully won't appear. The modal won't pop out of the side of the screen. I only have the optio...

Is this happening if you're invited to a social event or if you initiate one or both ?

    I have the same issue; it started 2-3 months ago; when I plan a social event, the tasks won't appear; not only social event, same problem occurs when I go to work i.e. detective. To see the tasks, I have to exit  the game and restart again.
