Some cc not showing in game after the latest update (July 2018)

Hi, so I am having trouble with some of my cc after the latest update (July 2018). All my cc is still in the mods folder (no zip or sub folders), but after the latest update some of them just don't show up in game. (I activate the cc and mods in the games option after the update and I also tried removing the filter for feminine/masculine, did not find them) I did not remove the mods folder for the update (did not know back then that that can cause issues).

Mods are all fine, updated the ones that needed to be, just cc affected.

Also tried fixing them with the newest version of sims 4 studio, did not work.

I read somewhere you should delete the cc that is not working and download them again, but as a lot of cc is affected by this it would be a very time consuming solution, and I am not even sure if that would fix the issue.

Does anyone know if this work or a better way of fixing this problem?

  • Hi, I am having the same problem and am very annoyed. Some cc is showing up but a very large portion is not. I have also tried all of the fixes you have listed.

I have all games and packs.

You should remove CC that doesn't work and look for updates where you got it.

@jpkarlsen I tried that on a just a few of the CC to see if that would fix the problem but so far it has not worked for me. Any other suggestions?

You need to do it on all your CC. Trying on just a few doesn't mean the rest doesn't need updating.

When you remove all Mods and CC and delete localthumbcache.package does the game then work? Do not save after testing.
