[STEPS UPDATED] Newly-purchased DLC not appearing

Bought Digital Deluxe upgrade for sms 4 but add-on is not showing in library nor in game. I have tried all trouble shooing advice including reinstalling game all the way to restarting my own modem. I...

    While we look into this issue, please try the following to download and access your DLC:

    - Search for your pack using the EA app search bar

    - Click on the pack in the results

    - Select the Download option

    EDIT: Also it would be helpful if you could create an Error Report and post your Error Report ID to this thread.  Instructions on how to create an Error Report are here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/ea/ea-app/run-ea-error-report/

    Update: To best assist both fans and the teams currently investigating this issue we have locked this thread to consolidate reports in a single location. Please follow the steps in our EA app forums located here so we can assist further.

Help please.

I've just bought Sims 4 To Rent from my usual website (CD Keys), which 9 times out of 10 has never been a problem before. But today, when i put the key in, which seemingly went through without a problem, but the EP didn't download. 

If I open the game, it shows up as one of my owned games, but in the EA app it says that it's not in my library. 

The only difference between this purchase and previous purchases is I used card rather than PayPal - but from that end, everything seemed normal. 

From my end I have tried 

  1. App Restart.
  2. Computer Restart.
  3. App Recovery 
  4. Removed mods
  5. repaired the game. 

I don't know what else to do, but going through the labyrinth effort of contact someone in person at EA is my next step.

Am I missing something glaringly obvious?

Hi, there.

I', just wondering if you have fixed your issue yet and if so how?

I am having EXACTLY the same issue my end with the "For Rent" and "Growing Together" expansion pack. Purchased code through CD keys same as you, paid by card. Growing Together works perfectly but For Rent showing as owned in the game but not able to download it through EA app, just gives me the option to Purchase. I've tried everything you have too so now I'm uninstalling and re-installing my game, but it still isn't showing in the downloads folder.

CD keys haven't been helpful and EA hasn't replied to me either yet. Frustrating.

    Update, I uninstalled and reinstalled my game, and then cleared the cache on the ea app and it worked. Downloading now. I don't know what the issue is, but from what I've read of people experiencing the issue and of my own experience I think it's just a delay.

      @Ratty1994 Thanks. I'm having the same issue today. My game is reinstalling now, so hopefully it fixes my issue as well.

      I found that it just took time before it got worked out. I also opened and EA Error Report from the Help section of the 3 bar menu on the Ea App for good measure. Not sure if that helped or not, but worth a try.

    I logged on this morning and it was sitting there in my library, as if nothing had happened. Just downloading it now. 🙂
