Stormforce Onyx i3

Hi, I’m looking at getting a basic entry level gaming computer as my laptop is starting to struggle with the sims 4 now. I have all of the packs apart from kits currently and have lost enjoyment in the game due to it running slower than usual and I don’t want to reduce the graphics. This is the desktop I was looking into:

CPU and Memory:

  • Intel Core i3-10100 F processor.
  • Quad core processor.
  • Processor speed 4.3GHz with a burst speed of 4.3GHz.
  • 8 GB RAM DDR4.

Hard drive:

  • 1TB HDD storage.
  • 120GB SSD storage.

Graphics:

  • Dedicated graphics.
  • NVIDIA GTX 16 series GTX 1650 with 4GB memory GDDR4.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

  • @jrbrukz  This hardware should run Sims 4 on ultra graphics settings with some room to spare.  If this is within your budget, it's a perfectly reasonable choice.  The one concern is the size of the C drive: it's small enough that you'll need to manage its space carefully.  It would probably be best to install Sims 4 on the larger, slower mechanical drive, which is easy to do in Origin.  If you decide later you want another faster drive, it would be simple enough to install one, but it's not strictly necessary.
