stuck on white screen/loading screen
This problem started since I updated my game at the end of July 2024. The game will load fine but when I click new game I get stuck on a white screen then I have to force quit the sims to restart it. I am able to load my last played world but when I try to enter CAS in game I get stuck on the loading screen. I have tried removing my mods and CC but the problem still occurs so it can't be mod related. I have also repaired my game through the EA app and it hasn't helped the problem. Another minor detail which I think is unrelated, on the Home Screen the sim that appears at the top from my previous screen is just a black shadow. Also after every time I load the game and exit it there is a new LastUIException text file. i don't really know what these are but if anyone knows if they have any relevance please let me know.

@sprogz As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and let me know which problems are still present.
