Stylist Offer Makeover not Opening CAS

I have a "Wardrobe Wiz" Stylist (lvl 7) who I just started trying to use to makeover townies. I had the work-from-home assignment to Make-Over Sim. I found a Sim, found the option, clicked it, and saw him pose a bit. The work-from-home assignment was completed successfully, but nothing else happened. CAS did not open, and I did not actually get to change anything about his outfit. I chatted until he was friends with my Sim, but this didn't make any difference.

I'm having trouble finding out if the CAS is supposed to open upon using this interaction, but this does not seem to be working as intended, since the Sims look exactly like they did before.

I use MCCC, if that makes any difference. Please assist!
