Sun won’t shine in game

In my sims 4 game the Sun does not shine during the day. It will glitch and shine when I zoom in or out but the game always looks as if it’s night time or cloudy when the weather clearly says it’s a sunny day. How do I fix this? I repaired the game and played with settings but nothing helps
