System error in build mode after October 2024 update

When I am in build mode, any time I try to place something on the lot, it says system error. I disabled mods, repaired the game, and turned my PC off and on and nothing seems to be working. The game ...

@crime_junkie_96  Please post a screenshot of the error, for reference.  Please also let me know whether this happens on a different lot in the same save, and if so, whether it happens in a new save.  Remove your Mods folder for now; you don't need to save your progress.
