Testing cheats not working, HELP!

Did you try with "testingcheats true"? Try to repair the game in Origin. Rightclick the game and select Repair.

I've had this happen in my game before. You have be in Live mode before testingcheats can be used.

How To: Use Testing Cheats -

1. At Sims 4 Main Menu, choose the family you want to play. Press Pause after getting into live mode.

2. Press Shift-Ctrl-C all at the same time.
3. Enter testingcheats on or testingcheats true, press enter.
-- Once this is enabled, it should show you a message in the cheat console that the cheats are enabled.
4. Copy or paste the desired cheat, press enter.
5. Press the ESC key or Shift-Ctrl-C again to exit the cheat console.

If that doesn't work, try deleting the localthumbcache.package out of the Sims 4 folder to troubleshoot and try using testingcheats again.

I had the same issue for awhile- but I actually figured it out. Instead of "true" or "on" do, testingcheats enable and it works. Hope this helps. 

same but mine says  cheats are disabled

sadly this hasnt worked, do you have any other tips?
