The Duplicato bug is still here
Before I start, I am aware there was a thread for this, but it says fixed but I just did it on an up-to-date game. I was visiting the realm of magic and had just learnt the duplicato spell. I used and didn't think much of it, I proceeded to leave the realm of magic and got on with my game. A couple of in-game days later I was looking around my neighbourhood at the fishing spots and I saw a familiar face, me. I went to interact with him and got confused. I proceeded to use the spell again to check if there was something I was missing, but this clone disappeared. I befriended and invited him into my household and he had the same skills, magic spells and rank. The only difference is that the clones inventory was empty. I went to CAS and recoloured his clothes so I could tell them apart, and tried to replicate the bug.
I went into the realm of magic and tried again, following what happened the first time as the clone in my neighbourhood vanished without a problem. I did this not once, but twice successfully. I checked the site and it was set as resolved and patched, so I tried updating my game just in case, but I was up to date, and did it again.
Steps I took:
1- Went to the realm of magic
2- went to the basement and talked to a sage
3- mid-conversation I duplicato'ed
4- talked to my duplicate and got the friendship bar up a little ( he was also talking to the sage)
5-used the go-to home button on my sim portrait and left (I was using Transportale spell if that helps)
6- when I got home I could call sim to lot, although that aside they appear to have a sleep cycle
They didn't appear in households, mine or other as far as I could tell.
- @Progedice There was someone else saying it's still happening and I tested with two Sims.
One already had a clone and the second clone wouldn't go away. For the other Sim it went fine.
Could be there's still issues.
Could you create a new bug report for now ? I might reopen the old one but if I do that, I will merge your new post. It's better than have a thread here.
