The Sim 4 Game Installed, The Game Screen won't maxmise and won't Respond

Hello,

For the past few month I have had no bother with playing on Sims 4 but for the last couple weeks when I launch the game it keeps coming up in a little screen and when I click on the maximise button it won't. If I exist the little screen it says the game is not responding. I've checked all updates and repairing it. I even uninstalled then installed the game and nothing works!

I'm not that high tech but any help would be great!
