The Sims 4 - Custom Content

SIMS 4 CUSTOM CONTENT PROBLEMS!

Hello, I installed The Sims 4 on my new 1TB hard drive yesterday and ever since I have been having troubles with my custom content.

Whenever I download custom content through the TSR CC Manager, it doesn't install into the game itself.

Whenever I transfer package or zip files to my Mods folder, it won't transfer to the game.

I have tried everything I can possibly think of and nothing is working.

Please help me! I can't play the game without custom content.

In your hurry with a new computer did you make sure you have 'allowed cc and mods' before loading a game, in the Sims 4 Options panel?

I already have. Anything from The Sims Resource works but if I download CC from tumblr, and transfer it to my specialised mods folder, it won't show in the game.

What "specialized mods folder" are you talking about. The Sims 4 only uses one Mods folder generally located here:

    \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods

Yeah, that's the folder that I'm using for anything from Tumblr, but still, nothing works.

Unfortunately I can't show you because I put a zip file and a package file in my mods folder and now the following error is popping up. I have repaired, removed everything, updated, uninstalled and reinstalled everything but the same error is popping up.

Move your Mods folder to somewhere else then repair the game. Rightclick it in Origin and select Repair.

BTW. Why would this prevent you from taking a screenshot of the contents of your Mods folder?
