hey, i found a way to solve this problem. I had the same problem with my game, and i downloaded it with origin. When you go to your game library you right click on The Sims 4, then you have a repair-option. If you press that, origin will check all your mods and game files. I think it will delete the mods who blocked your game. I don't really know what it actually does, but i did it and no game content was deleted.
