The Sims 4: Chess set problem

I know how to put down a chess set in the Sims 4, but after I put down the chairs that are compatible (the ones with two floor panels) I click on the chess set in Live Mode and it says that their are no chairs near the chess set! Why does this happen?

    Are you sure the chairs are right for the chess set? Could you try other chairs or maybe an open location for the full set?
