The Sims 4 Dine Out: Host doesn't show up / Can't Interact With Host

The first three times I opened my restaurant, everything was running well.  I could promote, demote, and fire, or hire employees, and they would all show up like they were suppose too.  The fourth time I opened my restaurant though, the host wouldn't show up, at all.  I tried to move their station, but they still never showed up.  After letting the restaurant run for 8 hours, I closed it.  Somehow she leveled up her skills without being there, but I decided to promote her anyway.  Unfortunately, the game wouldn't let me promote, demote, or fire her.  I could see the action load on the bottom left, but then it would just cancel itself.  I have looked at other posts to try and get help, but I couldn't see any with the same problem as mine, or any solutions that worked, so I posted my own.  Any answers?  *~*
