@Lizzy_Stark18 The game's program files, as in, what the EA App installs, are contained within a "The Sims 4" folder, wherever you told the App to install. Inside "The Sims 4" is a Game folder, and inside that is a Bin folder. Inside Bin are multiple executables, files with the extension .exe, for example TS4_DX9_x64.exe. If you're not seeing file extensions, you can change that under View.
The point is, in your antivirus, either set exceptions for all the .exe files inside Bin, or set an exception for the entire Bin folder.
