@Pucaroo16 Please post your computer's dxdiag. HOW - How to run dxdiag Then attach the created txt file to the paper clip in the lower right of the response window.
When I start a new save the game runs fine and I can play it but with my save I am trying to load it lets me load the world maps and edit sims in create a sim but when I try to enter a household/lot it boots me out sometimes with a break error sometimes not.
@Pucaroo16 Try installing a new graphics driver. Download it from here:

Choose the custom route and check the box to perform a clean install. Restart afterwards and before trying to play.
If you get another error, please take a screenshot and attach it to a post.
Sadly it still crashes when trying to load into a household on this save file.
