The Sims 4 not working.

Hello People, I hope some Whiz Kid can help me please.

I've got an issue with opening this game up on PC Disc.

I've installed it after 3 hours of downloading each time (4 times, install and uninstall) and it just won't play. I've tried safe mode, tried downloading the player thing EA suggested, tried moving the Sims files, removing them and everything to no avail.

Now I'm pretty stuck on what to do.

I have a Toshiba laptop running on Windows 7 (don't like the new Windows)

Hope to have some form of response and get this game sorted asap.

Many Thanks.

I do apologise but I'm not very good with the techy stuff of a laptop. Do you suggest a whole update.

Sims worked before but some virus messed up my laptop badly then had to remove them then back date the laptop to 2014, does it need to be updated fully then?

I appreciate your very kind help.

Oh, and you don't have to upgrade to Win 10 of course.

Just install the Win 7 Updates
