Okay
So I did the clean boot. The Sims 4 still crashed. Then I did it again and took the game offline.
Now I'm getting a new kind off error.
So first it says there is an unsolved issue. I restart the app.
Then it says it crashed and I will update.
A window then pops up and says, that EA APP is already up to date, and then closes.. And this is just a continued loop.
Could it be the EA APP that makes the game crash?
I have attached 2 screenshots of the new error
@auvbri The EA App could certainly be the issue here, or at least an issue. Just checking, but did you sign into the App while your computer was online, and let it load fully before putting it in offline mode and then disconnecting from the internet? The App does sometimes take a while to load, and cutting off that process could cause both of these errors.
Otherwise, please uninstall it with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine). Use the Intensive scanning method when asked, and restart your computer. Download a fresh copy of the App installer, and run it as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Then try again to play normally, and if that doesn't work, in the clean boot and while offline.

So I have tried your latest ideas.
It seems to have done the job. I have played for hours today, and only 1 crash. That might have been a mod tho.
So idk, maybe this did the trick? - puzzlezaddict2 months agoHero+
@auvbri That sounds like a win, especially if the single crash is mod-related. It's possible that the clean boot isn't necessary at all, that the EA App was part or all of the problem, so feel free to test in a normal boot and while online again. If you get another crash, you can go back to a clean boot and try selectively reenabling services again, and playing with your computer online, then the EA App online, to see whether adding anything back causes more crashing.
Let me know if you need further help with any of this.

Hey puzzlezaddict
So after the lastest updates, the same issue has now returned :(
And this time, its much much more aggressive. I cant even open the game for more than 30 seconds before it justs shuts down
So I'm just kinda lost as to what to do here...
Again, I don't have this problem on any other games or apps on my computer, just the sims
