So I bought the SIms 4 . I setup the disc,started downloading at about 7:40pm. When i leave it ,it pauses (the download). Right now as I type this question, at like 10:30am the next day, its only at 32%. Anyone with the same problem? Plus, how long does it take to download when this issue occurs. Thanks to everyone who replies in advance =) !!!!!!!!!!
It just depends on your internet connection.
Slower the internet connection, the slower the download rate.
Faster the internet connection, the faster the download rate.
I'm having the same issue with the digital download. I DO NOT have slow internet, however I have now been downloading the game for FOURTY EIGHT straight hours, and it is only now on 75%. Twice it has reached into the 80th percentile, and for some reason randomly backtracked back to sixty something percent. I'm extremely frustrated at this point, and if I choose to cancel download it says I will lose all progress, but I'm beyond disappointed. I'm fairly convinced that it is never going to actually download all the way, considering it keeps setting itself back. Help?!? Suggestions?!
Try opting in the beta version of Origin in the Origin settings.
It's supposed to have some fixed for that.
Also make sure your firewall and antivirus aren't blocking the connection
That's really strange. Normally, i have OK-bad internet and it downloaded in about 45 minutes.
