@puzzlezaddict I've installed the new drivers, but it didn't help. Sims 4 is still much lower volume than for example youtube.

@SqueamishNerd The new sound driver is only marginally newer than the old one, so it may have the same issue. What motherboard do you have? Please list the exact model so I can do some research. Even if Asus doesn't offer a newer driver, and Windows didn't find one, Realtek might have something you can use.
Please also test with a different sound output device plugged in, and your speakers disconnected. I realize that this isn't the fault of your speakers themselves, considering that your recordings are similarly quiet, but a different device may use a different sound driver or otherwise trigger different system settings.
