the sims 4 will not run
when i launch my game via origin the sims 4 gets to main screen then when i go to my saves it keeps asking for hard disk . but my game was bought via digital download from origin

could you post a screenshot of the exact error you're getting ?
Are you playing on Mac or PC ?
My game won't even start up.

After this it won't load and can't leave the sims 4. I have to shut down the computer to exit.
Don't worry, the problem was fixed. It had to do with Custom Content.
Although that problem has been fixed there is another problem. I know it has nothing to do with Custom Content, but I still have no idea what is causing the problem.

I press the play button. Then it exits out of Origin and a loading icon shows up like usual, but then it reopens Origin.

Move your mods folder to the desktop, delete localthumbcache.package file in the game folder and check if the game will start without it.
If it will work, then we will look for the guilty mod or CC which blocks the game.
If without mods the game also does not turn on then uninstall Origin by using Revo (free version)
