The Sims 4 won't run due to missing or damaged data
Hi,
I'm having trouble running The Sims 4 due to missing or damaged data. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, repairing the app, and clearing the cache of the EA app, but nothing has worked. I have no mods installed. The game still won't run. Can you please help me resolve this issue?

UPDATE: Not sure why but moving the Sims 4 folder within the EA folder on to the desktop fixed it.
@RoseEcho25345 That means something in your old folder was causing the issue. It could be something in Mods or ConfigOverride, so check those first. Saves and Tray files (saved households and builds) are probably fine, as are Screenshots and Recorded Videos. The first round of login rewards is saved to accountDataDB.package now. The rest can be discarded, but here's a description of the files in case you want to know what they are:
