There is a problem with your game's setup. Please reinstall your game.

Hello, I have a problem. I bought The Sims 4 from Steam almost a month ago and was only working with the 32-bit Legacy Edition. It was working normally up until the recent 'Lift your spirits' update....

    @Meltedrouge There's also a failed windows update. Check if there's anything else to update to.

    Since you're using the Steam version, did you include the exe file in the steam folder ?

    Could you also try Steam and the game with admin rights

    You said you updated all VC++ components. Do you have both 32 bit and 64 bit for those ? Have you tried uninstalling them all and reinstalling ?

@Meltedrouge Your graphics drivers could do with an update.

What security software are you using ?

    I updated my graphic drivers to their latest versions. I'm using Windows defender and I added origin.exe, TS4.exe, and TS4_x64 to the exclusion list. But it still gives me the same error. Any tips?

        Thank you. It finally worked after I updated my windows to the latest edition.
