This may make your sims run faster as i found out today

If your on windows pc click on the search bar and type 

%temp% 

Press enter 

Once in the file delete all those temporary files you dont need them i didnt then give your pc a quick restart i was absolutely amazed at how fast my pc ran after this so just to be sure i did my friends laptop windows again and the same a faster running machine i know its not much and with some it probably wont work but its worth a try if it works for you i hope it gave you some hope and made you smile
