Toddler glitch

So, I had minor issues with the toddler update. The toddler sim's parent kept trying to pick up the toddler to the point where she'd have "pick up" in her queue all the time. I couldn't remove it. Also, my toddler had his birthday and aged up but now I am stuck with a child sim that acts like a toddler. He can't walk up stairs because he doesn't know how to and a thought bubble appears with a diaper in it. This is so annoying.

    Hello there,

    There's no need to worry - Electronic Arts are always working on fixes to their games and expansions,

    I have had this bug as well, simply go to Settings, go to Gameplay tab, and turn off Autonomy, then turn it back on, this will reset actions they're planning to do. This resolved the issue for me, if it continues after this, simply restart the game and use another sim to do actions on the toddler.

    The Sims not using stairs can be solved by either going traveling, going to CAS or reloading the game.
