Transparent pop ups

All of my sims pop ups, task bar, and needs bars are transparent, when I click on a sim all the interactions are transparent as well. I have better exceptions downloaded and I’ve checked for ui cheats downloaded from TwistedMexi and I don’t have any downloaded. I’ve removed my mods folder and deleted the local cache package and repaired my game, I’ve literally tired everything the internet has said to do and nothing has worked. All my mods are up to date with the current game patch update, I don’t know what to do to fix it. Can anyone help?

    I have no ui cheats downloaded I have better exceptions and I checked for ui cheats and even better exceptions said I have zero of them. I’ve removed my mods folder and deleted the local cache package I’ve literally tried everything and nothing has fixed it. Any suggestions?

    @dussitater  As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and let me know how it looks.

    If this doesn't help, restart your computer and disable any apps that come with overlays: Steam, Discord, etc.  Disable the EA App in-game overlay too; the option is under Settings > Application.
