@Sims_Lover14333 Trash the shortcut; it's broken. If you'd like to create another one, you can find TS4_x64.exe in the game's program files. Unless you changed the default install location in Origin, the path will look like this:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin
Right-click on TS4_x64.exe and select Send to > Desktop.
I made a new shortcut and tried clicking on it but nothing happened. The game didn't start up.

@Sims_Lover14333 Is Origin set to run Sims 4 in 64-bit mode? Open your Origin library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, select Game Properties, then Advanced Launch Options, and make sure the 64-bit version is selected from the dropdown menu. If you don't see it, right-click on the Sims 4 icon and select Repair, then look again.

@Sims_Lover14333 Strange, I don't know why the shorcut wouldn't work. What happens if you double-click on the TS4_x64.exe directly in the Bin folder? If that doesn't work either, do a game repair (described above) and try again.
