TS4 videos and Copyright

Question

I was wanting to use the sims 4 for video taping for a few video scholarship contests and was wondering what the copy right law was on the game? As far as scholarships are concerned as long as I'm not infringing on any copyright laws they will accept the video entry. I'm aware EA encourages these videos on Youtube, however I was unsure about something like a video submission for a scholarship.

And how do I do that exactly? Sorry, this is really new to me. 😕I read the article and read the terms of service...but how do I ask for permission?
