Unable to Access Grim's Guitar

What happens when the bug occurs? Grim's guitar is not applied to the player's account.
What do you expect to see? Grim's guitar applied to the player's account.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Hi!

I have contacted support via live chat and was eventually asked (after attempting numerous things to try and get it working; feel free to check live chat transcript on my account to see steps tried) to submit a bug report for this issue. According to them, the content (Grim's guitar) associated with this promotion is no longer available and is unable to be manually applied to the player's account, even when explicitly granted by them (EA support). Note: I have checked similar bug reports and noted that some with the issue have different emails for their EA/Origin accounts, but I only have the single email/login for my EA/Origin account.

I wonder if it's possible for this content to be re-activated so that players can have it applied to their accounts. Incidentally, it's somewhat odd that the content would be removed while the newsletter signup page (incl. promotion info) is still live on the EA website? ( https://www.ea.com/en-gb/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/pc/newsletter )

The main issue (for me) is just having the tile greyed out on the game's landing page. 🙂
