Do you see the mouse cursor ?
Did you move over anything from the demo ?
I am having this same problem. I did move the active Sim over from the CAS demo. I've tried both windowed modes and moving my Sim out and into another house. The mouse cursor is visible. Pointer trails are off. Clicking on the UI, menus, anything other than the live screen works fine, but clicking on objects/sims results in no options. My game is up-to-date.
Help would be greatly appreciated. It's my birthday, this was a gift, I am a sad Simless llama. I await patiently!
