The new EA APP and how this APP handle DLC + Games which are double/triple on your library (You can check this on Origin. Normally you should have two copies on sims4 (EA and Steam-Version) + I think EA Play causes also errors and add another *version* to your account if the user ever had subscribed to it)
I think EA App has problem to check if the user has a valid license for games/DLC if a game is more as 1x bought/claimed and that this app only checks one license (Steam/EA/Epic/EAPLAY) and don’t verify that the user has DLC XXX bought on steam. So, after this check EA APP says *No, you don’t own this DLC because I only check if you bought this new DLC on origin because I somehow check only the EA sims 4 version and not the steam sims 4 version.* <- this is only a guess after I was talking with more people which have problem with EA + Steam after they released the new EA APP update on Steam (all the user had the same background; owned Sims 4/or another Game/ on origin before steam release and purchased it again on steam in sale or had one time EA Play subscription. They all miss DLC or new bought DLC don’t get recognized if they purchased on steam)
As consumer you **** because your only help is the EA costumer support, and they cannot help you with this because it is the APP self and how the APP handle license from Games/DLC which you own on two platforms (EA + Steam or EA + Epic)
