Unable to Play Sims 4 with Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 Ti

I have the Sims 4 with all the latest patches etc. I was able to play fine before I had to reinstall windows on my computer. I have an NVidia Geforce GTX 550 Ti graphics card. Every time I try to play the game I get a display driver stopped responding and has recovered error message. i don't get this issue when playing other games like LA Noire and Tomb Raider. My graphics card driver is up to date with the driver that was released on March 17, 2015. Please help as I really would like to be able to play the game again. I'm posting my DXDIAG. Thanks.

    Unfortunately, no.

Did you try repairing the game through Origin ?

  • Try uninstalling those graphics drivers and reinstall them. Maybe use the February ones. I have the same card but have not installed the march drivers.

I've tried using the February drivers and it hasn't worked. I even went back to the driver that was being used when the game first came out back in September. I didn't have this issue before the March 10 patch. Is there a way to rollback the game patches?

I tried repairing the game and that didn't fix it.After the repair I underclocked the card and then optimized it using Raptr and now I'm back playing. Thanks for all your help.
