Unable to save game progress

I am unable to save my game progress. This issue has been occurring for MONTHS. I can play the game for a while and when i go to save game, it shows me a menu as shown in the first picture. It wont let me select any of the save options. Even when i try to use my keyboard to save the game, i get the same "unable to save game" message. When i select the option to exit the game, it shows me a message like the one in the second picture. Ive made substantial progress in the game and then have had to start over because it wont save. I've deleted and redownloaded both the EA and SIMS apps over 5 times each. Ive repaired the game at least 7 times. The game has been fully updated. My computer has enough storage so its not a storage issue. I feel like ive done everything i could have done so im not sure how to fix this issue.

  • @alexajade63  To be clear, are you in live mode (as opposed to Build/Buy or CAS) when you're trying to save?  I can't quite tell from your screenshot.  If not, please try that.

    If saving in live mode doesn't work, please try a new save instead and see what happens.  If you can't save there either, please let me know what antivirus you use and whether OneDrive is running on this computer, whether you use it or not.
